Robert Hall Scott V, AKA Robbie, Rob, Lil' Wobbly Cotts, Robmeister, Uncle Rob,
hippie boy, little-big brother, et al. was brought into this world in Tripoli
Libya, December 24, 1964. Rob claims the role of the eldest of the Scott boys
and also the fifth in a line of Robert Hall Scotts.
Rob was raised around the world - Lebanon, Miami, FL and Sterling, VA. He now
lives in Fredericksburg VA - but this is just a short stay until he moves onto
his future farm somewhere in Virginia (yet to be purchased or determined).
Rob makes his living at ManTech as a
Logistics Engineer - actually ManTech
should be considered his domicile as Rob has turned into a true workaholic.
When he is not working he enjoys playing his bass and recording with his band;
playing with their
3
dogs while stepping over their 8 cats; fixing up their house preparing to
sell it (for the aforementioned farm); watching the
Dallas Cowboys
(diehard fan and not afraid to tell it);
jumping out of planes at Skydive
Orange (yes, DeAnna has verified the insurance policy) and one more thing…
oh that's right - spending time with what's her face (DeAnna).
Prior to working at ManTech, Rob spent 4
years at API, building professional recording consoles and out board gear for
such artists as Green Day,
Dave Matthews,
Sound Garden,
Van Halen,
Lennie Kravitz, etc.
DeAnna Lynn
Scott, born DeAnna Lynn Shaneck, AKA Dee Dee, Aunt DeAnna, Crazy Cat Lady, and
other choice names we shouldn't mention on this G Rated web page… grew up mainly
in Sterling Virginia, which explains her limited geographical experience. One
day she promises to leave the country - not permanently mind you, she has her
sights set for Africa, Turkey, Australia and the Mediterranean.
Like Rob in all respects, DeAnna makes her living and lives at
ManTech in Chantilly VA. She manages the
Contracts and Purchasing Department and is clawing her way to the top. Prior
to working for ManTech she spent 13 years
in the Federal Government with the Department of Defense, the Environmental
Protection Agency and the Department of the Navy. She attended the
University of Virginia and nearly every
community college between Fredericksburg and Baltimore - sans degree she still
has enjoyed much success but not without giving a lot of blood. Some days she
wishes McDonalds paid better and wonders if they have a good vacation package.
DeAnna
co-founded and is presently the President of the
4 Paws Rescue
Team, Inc. This is a cat rescue group that is proud to claim the rescue and
adoption of over 3000 homeless cats since 1995. She plans on stepping down as
President effective December 31, 2001 to pursue other ventures, hopefully ones
without legs and mouths not to mention
butts. She will remain
on the Board.
DeAnna spends her off time (what off time?) - ok DeAnna thinks about spending
her off time playing with their 8 cats and 3 dogs, haunting the Goodwill's and
Salvation Army's, experimenting with digital image editing, thinking of home
improvement projects she can mess up and Rob can fix, playing on the computer
and loving her dear husband Rob.
