Phillip William Root, AKA Bill, Stretch, Daddy (two only two short people), Uncle Bill (again only by short people), and The Elder Root Boy!  and Jodi Scott Root AKA  Judith Lane (to those of us with good memories), Jode (pronounced Johd), Mommy, Mama, or Aunt Jodi were born shortly after the first printing of Genesis.

After Bill spent some time at  Radford University, he went to George Mason University and got a Bachelor of Individualized Studies, Telecommunications, and then on to John Hopkins for his Masters.  The surprising thing is, that with all this education you would think that he would be bright...Anyway, on to Jodi, whom made her mother the proudest woman on earth when she became the first (and to this point, the only) child of hers to receive her degree which was from Strayer University in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Administration.  

Bill and Jodi first met at Loudoun Memorial Hospital in 1980, where both of their mothers worked.  They then started the love affair that set the bathroom walls at Radford on fire! 21 years later they are stronger than ever with two beautiful and smart children.  They recently had a home built out in lovely Waterford, Virginia.  Bill is a manager with GE Information Systems and also does volunteer work with Habitat For Humanity.  Jodi is a full time mother and sits (not literally, mind you) on the Architectural Review Board of their development.  She also runs a chauffer service (for two short people) which Bill happens to support through venture Capitalism.  At this point, they are losing money, but hope things are different by the time they retire :-).
